Dear Kids, I just wrote to Joey. He sure could use a weekly letter from any or all of you. Also, if you have a spare nickle, it seems his food allotment, 150 per month just isn't adequate, and I really believe if he had a little more money he would not be so depressed. Hunger can do that for a person like Joe. If you want to help him, go to any us bank and put some in his account. They'll give you a deposit slip. Or send it to me. He sounds cheerful in his general email, but you should read the ones I get. He has even called me twice. I am so glad to be part of this family. You have all been so good and so willing to help each other. It's kind of likd the saying, "Christ has only our hands to help others." I love every one of you, but I am only one person. It makes me so happy to see how you help each other. I appreciate Gigi and Kip for their interest and help with Andrew. They will surely get stars in heaven for helping Whitehead teenagers. And I hope you all appreciate your oldest sister, Valisa, for the quiet way she has helped so many. My prayer for her right now is that she won't get carpel tunner syndrome from making baby quilts and blessing outfits. Just kidding. But there is a list of things I am praying for that I would seriously appreciate you adding your faith and prayers to. With so many of you, and your strong faith, Heaven will surely hear us. Pray for Joey every day that he'll feel joyful an stong in missionary service, have success and get beyond depression. Pray Jacob stays safe in Chicago and doesn't get mugged again. Pray Tim gets the job in Mattawa. Pray Polly gets over her terrible morning sickness and that all three girls, Jen, Angie and Polly have healthy babies. I love you all. You are the bomb, as Andrew would say. I miss that kid. Love, Mom
